Visual Arts Training for Teachers in the GTA and Toronto

We provide hands-on practical workshops for teachers who want to teach art lessons in the classroom in Toronto and the GTA

Do you need some creative fun ideas for your art instruction in your classroom? We offer visual arts training for teachers and educators in Toronto and the GTA. We are contracted to train teachers in delivering the art curriculum by the TDSB and the TCDSB. We provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to teach fun, sophisticated art lessons in their classrooms!

Workshops focus on three key aspects

• We are using art as a vehicle to build critical thinking and problem-solving

• Meeting the Ontario Ministry of Education Learning Outcomes for Visual Art in your classroom

• Sourcing accessible, affordable art-making materials. 

• And the practical steps to progressive arts pedagogy.

You will be exploring this by making art yourself! The workshop to train teachers in teaching art in Toronto and the GTA will allow you to experiment with various aspects of visual arts while using tactile inspiring materials with easily accessible instruction. Using Toronto artists as inspiration, our Artist Educators will give you the confidence to integrate art into all levels of your curriculum!

Ideal for Teachers & Educators! for administrators to book for PD days, teachers’ colleges, artist-educator groups, or groups of teachers at a school.

We invite all educators and community workers in various capacities (such as daycare staff and programming instructors) to join us! Through hands-on projects and activities, teachers will gain practical experience and numerous ideas and teaching methods to bring back to their classrooms and communities.
